Downtown Anjeong-ri is known as "the Ville." While the shops are modest, there is actually plenty of shopping that can be done, from clothing to food to gifts. The main street contains most of the shopping while the side streets offer many different kinds of restaurants, including, Thai, Brazilian, Peruvian, Mexican, Chinese, Philippines, Italian, Korean, and American-style food.
There are stores selling athletic gear, clocks, souvenirs, and more. There are always fresh vegetables and fruit for sale along the street. There are money exchanges, cell phone stores, art shops, and some uniquely Korean shops that are fun to visit.
The merchants in Anjeong-ri are friendly and helpful and will do their best to help you find what you are looking for in "The Ville."
