Welcome to the Anjeong-ri English language website.
This site was created to give an overview of the many activities that can be enjoyed in the immediate area of Anjeong-ri. The area is rich in history and there is still an opportunity to see traditional houses and farming practices as they have been in the area for hundreds of years.
This website is geared to people who are inquisitive, like to get out and explore, interested in learning about their new environment and who plan to enjoy their time in Korea.
Anjeong-ri.com focuses primarily on outdoor activities, including walks, biking, sight-seeing, and more, but all are in the Anjeong-ri immediate area. Location maps are provided for all the suggested activities. Most of these activities are within walking distance of either the walk-in gate at Camp Humphreys or from the many expat apartments around town. Rural hikes are no more than 15 minutes away by car, usually no more than five miles from downtown Anjeong-ri.
The Anjeong-ri area offers an abundance of unique experiences, from watching elderly farmers engaged in traditional farming to observing colorful motorcycle clubs on their friendly outings. The area is a photographer's dream, the countryside is some of the best biking on the planet.
