While Anjeong-ri is growing quickly and at times can seem to be overwhelmed with construction, there are amazing and quiet areas to explore. Step away from the main streets and you can find quiet lanes, country scenes, and photo opportunities galore. Try one or all of the walks, take a friend or just your camera and see the real Anjeong-ri.

The photo opportunities are amazing around town. The mix of old buildings and new, traditional markets and modern stores, make for a lively and interesting scene.

 

 

Town walks are an interesting mix of contemporary urban life and timeless scenes of older homes, historic buildings, high-rises, and even rice paddies and wooded areas. Look beyond the urban noise and you will find amazing photo opportunities and the friendly residents of Anjeong-ri.

2. Don't forget your camera

Keep your eyes alert for rickety baby strollers sitting by a house. These strollers are used by elderly women for balance and to carry small items. It is  a sign of the aging population that a stroller by a house means an elderly person lives there, not a child.
